The company
Active since 1920 on the composite materials market, today, Isola Composite is a recognized expert. As a leader in thermosetting, we develop, design and manufacture long-length boards, profiles and rollers. On top of that, we produce technical parts machined on drawings, addressing the multiple varied dimension requirements for equipment deployed in electrical, thermal, railway and electronic insulation.
Isola Composite operates several business lines
- electrical engineering, a strong presence with unique know-how in the manufacture of world-renowned insulating materials;
- electronics, international leader with the manufacture of the CDM range of unequaled quality and performance for soldering tools for printed circuits;
- new renewable energies, with technical materials for the needs of chargers for electrical and hydrogen applications, for wind turbines and other new technologies;
- thermal insulation, specialist in the protection of heating equipment in the field of wood, plastic and rubber injection presses as well as foundries and other energy-intensive sectors.
80% of Isola Composite France’s revenue is export-driven. The Company prides itself on long-standing expertise, recognized the world over. Its main customers include world-renowned groups in the high voltage and electronics industries, not to mention press and foundry machines.
Isola Composite is diversifying its activity and transitioning to eco-responsible materials.
We are also stepping up our efforts in the following markets:
- nuclear through dielectric material pressing and insulation and conductor part kits;
- energy distribution (pressing and machining of structural parts, conductor insulation for electric vehicle charging stations);
- Asia, Eastern Europe and the Americas, where we are strengthening our presence in the electrical and electronics industries;
- renewables, notably with our innovations in fuel cell insulation, electrolyzers and thyristors;
- construction (production of strengthening panels);
- composite pressing for shipping with a double focus on:
- maritime and liquid gas transport.
